Extra Help Moving / dba / Moving Labor Professionals have revised the company policies, terms and conditions which may be used across each platform when concerning and ordering professional moving labor services and moving helpers (movers without trucks) from the companies nationwide network.
Service Rate Overview: 2 Movers (Service Providers) shall be assigned to a customer service order request as moving helpers, and will perform Moving Labor Services. The prices shall be listed online via the Service Order Form (Service Packages 1, 2 3). Overtime will be applied past 8 hours of service, with a service rate equal to the regular service rate plus one half. Valid service order forms shall be processed on the Extra Help Moving platform via webpage redirects.
Moving Service Providers: Are contracted Moving Companies, Local Movers and Moving Helpers, Moving Services and Labor Agencies (3rd Party Services) and or service members assigned to a service order request through the companies nationwide network to provide moving labor services (Packing And Unpacking Boxes, Loading And Unloading Moving Rental Trucks, Moving Trailers, Moving Containers and Self Storage Units) within the United States. Moving Service Providers may disassemble and reassemble beds, disconnect and reconnecting appliances on request. Box Packing Services are available, Moving Boxes and Supplies and not included.
Travel Charges / Fuel Fees: Currently there are no travel charges or fuel fees for moving service providers who travel under 50 miles in one direction, to the arrival location. A customer who receives a service provider (moving team) which has traveled over 50 miles, to arrival location will have a “Travel Charge / Fuel Fee” based on $1.00 per/mile. The customer shall receive a “Text and E-mail” confirmation with the name and contact person of the moving service provider along with the “City/State” where they shall be driving from to cover the job. By default the closest available moving service providers are offered the service order request who are located within a 50 mile radius, which maybe more than 50 miles.
Cancellation Fees: Instead of cancelling a service order the customer can request an “Open Ticket” which keeps the service order active for 1 year without committing to a moving date. The customer must provide a 72 hour notice (3 Days In Advance) when rescheduling a new moving date within the one year time frame. If the “Open Ticket” is not used within provided time, it will expire on the original date the service order request was placed one years later. Any deposit amounts will be retained and used as the cancellation fee. A customer may cancel the service order at anytime. No refunds will be approved.
Open Tickets: Provide customers the freedom to reschedule a moving date and the time needed, without losing the service order deposit. Customers have upto one year from the original moving date to reschedule, at which time the service order shall expire and Canceled.
Refunds: In the event of a “No-Show” the company shall make a full refund within ten business days. Partial Refunds are provided within 30 days after the moving date, and only approved for “Service Orders” which have been taken over the phone, and the full amount been taken as a Temporary Hold ($160.00, $185.00, $270.00, $320, $540). The hold shall be processed for release providing no unpaid service hours and or fees are out standing. If the “Temporary Hold” amount is insufficient to cover any additional fees and of charges, the Credit/Debit Card shall be reprocessed for any additional unpaid payments. No other refunds shall be warranted.
Temporary Holds: Shall be held on the debit / credit card used, when the customers makes a request to have the Service Order taken over the phone, instead of the customer placing the order online themselves. The hold shall be released after the original moving date, minis any unpaid service amounts.
No Shows: When movers are assigned to a customers service order and do not arrive as scheduled, have not called stating they are running behind schedule and or can not be reached by the customer and or the company, this would be considered a “No-Show”. The customer shall be provide with several options: 1) Have the service order reassigned to another moving team, dispatched the same day or another time which is convenient for the customer. 2) May request a Refund without using our services. Moving Service Providers the are unprofessional are placed on the Flagged Moving Helpers web page, and terminated from our National Movers Network.
Chargebacks: Debit/Credit Card reversal and Non-Payment for services rendered shall be reported to the following services for collections: Collection Agency, Recovery Agency, Credit Bureaus and or Small Claims Court.
Damage Claims: The Company shall be liable for damage to items which are "Dropped" by the “Moving Service Providers” only during the use service. No other damage claims will be awarded and or processed. Items, Objects and or Appliances which have damaged by being “Dropped” by the Moving Service Providers will have a replacement and or repair value of $0.60 (cents) per pound. Please note, that most “Home Owners Renter's Insurance” policies cover damage to Items, Objects, and Appliances while being relocated by Owner via Rental Moving Vehicles.
Items Over 300 Pounds: The customer shall list in the "Special Instructions Box / Notes" on the “Service Order Form” any and all Items, Objects and Appliances which may be over 300 lbs to be approved by the company. Any Items, Objects and Appliance which are not list which maybe over 300 pounds will have an additional charge and or may not be moved by our service providers.
Piano Fees And Charges: Please note that our service providers (movers) charge for items, objects and appliances which are not consider normal household goods (pianos, pool tables, arcade games, commercial appliances and tools). Here is our price chart for Pianos: (1) Spinet Piano 36” to 40” in height = $50.00 (2) Studio Piano 41” to 45” in height = $75.00 (3) Antique Player Piano 46” to 50” in height = $100.00 (4) Grand Player Piano 51” to 63” in height = $150.00 (5) Baby Grand Piano 3-Legs = $200.00 (6) The Grand Piano 4-Legs = $250.00 (7) Professional Concert Piano 4-Leg Ext-Body = $300.00
Same Day Service: Service Order Forms must be received least 24 hour prior to the moving date. Customer may call Customer Support at (877) 350-7393 Ext. 701 to be pre-approved for any service order request exceptions. Please note, that from time to time and based on the service area some exception are made.
Supplies and Equipment: Customers are responsible for providing all packing supplies, pads, tie-down straps, leasing and driving moving vehicles. The Company shall provide experienced movers and moving helpers with basic hand tools and utility dollies needed to perform the service. Moving equipment and or supplies are generally available from the Moving Rental Trucks facilities.
Corporate Accounts: This service is designed for companies, services and agencies who are in need of weekly assistance via moving labor services. Extra Help Moving dba // Moving Labor Professionals shall provide professional movers as moving helpers across both platforms. All Corporate Account members shall be required to provide a Debit/Credit Card on file which will be processed for payment for services rendered. A monthly membership fee of $185.00 and or $270.00 shall be waived when using our professional moving labor services on a regular bases (Once Within 29 Calendar Days). On the 30th day and or thereafter the monthly fee shall be charged. A members Corporate Account may be closed with 45 days of inactivity.
